  1. Do I need a separate account for the marketplace account to earn Sony Rewards Points from participating merchants at the marketplace.sonyrewards.com?
    • No. Sony Rewards Points earned from shopping with The Marketplace will be credited to your Sony Rewards account.
  2. Do I need to keep the order number I receive from the merchant?
    • Yes. Order information you receive from a merchant is reported back to The Marketplace in order to award Sony Rewards points earned. If you have questions regarding your Sony Rewards Points earned from a merchant click Contact Us below in the footer.
  3. How does The Marketplace use the personal information I submit?
    • For complete information on how your information is used please read the Privacy Policy below in the footer.
Shopping
  1. How do returns, exchanges and/or backorders affect the Sony Rewards Points earned for the purchase?
    • If any part of a qualifying order is returned to the merchant, your points for that transaction may be reduced or removed from your Sony Rewards account. Please check each merchant's policy for returns.
  2. I shopped and made a purchase directly with a merchant that is on The Marketplace website, but did not click through from the mall. Can I earn Sony Rewards Points for my purchase even though I did not click through the website?
    • No. You must click through the links on The Marketplace to earn Sony Rewards Points.
Earning Sony Rewards Points
  1. How do I earn Sony Rewards Points from merchants through The Marketplace?
    • o You must click through a valid Shop Now link from the merchant's page on The Marketplace website to earn points for your purchases. In addition, you must be logged into Sony Rewards in order to earn points through The Marketplace.
  2. Do I need to create an account with The Marketplace to go shopping and earn Sony Rewards Points?
    • No. You do not need to create an account with The Marketplace.
  3. How are Sony Rewards Points calculated that are earned while using The Marketplace?
    • o Sony Rewards Points are calculated on the net amount of eligible purchases. Taxes, special handling charges, returns, freight or shipping costs and any unshipped products are not included in the point calculation. Individual merchants determine eligible purchases. Please reference the terms and conditions and/or exclusions for each merchant for complete information on what purchases are eligible to earn points.
  4. After I make a purchase from a The Marketplace merchant, when will the Sony Rewards Points be credited to my account?
    • Your Sony Rewards Points will be posted to your account within 60 days. Some exceptions do apply. Please reference the terms and conditions and/or exclusions for each merchant for complete information on what purchases are eligible to earn points.
  5. How do I know if my Sony Rewards Points have posted to my Sony Rewards account and available for use?
    • Visit https://www.sonyrewards.com/en/account/transactions and review your personal Sony Rewards account.
  6. Is there a limit to the number of Sony Rewards points that I can earn through The Marketplace?
    • No. The more you shop - the more you can earn! As a reminder, you cannot earn Sony Rewards Points for taxes, special handling charges, freight or shipping costs, and any unshipped or returned products. Please reference the terms and conditions and/or exclusions for each merchant for complete information on what purchases are eligible to earn points.

  1. Will Sony Rewards Points I earn from The Marketplace be added to the existing Sony Rewards Points in my Sony Rewards account or are they added to a separate account?
    • Sony Rewards Points are deposited to your existing Sony Rewards account.
